September 23, 2016 Your facility will be used as a polling location for the November 8, 2016, General Election. Precinct officials will require access to your facility at 6:00 am on Election Day. Tables and five to seven chairs will be needed. The polls will close at 9:00 pm and additional time, approximately one to two hours, will be needed to process election results and prepare the precinct for closing. The election equipment will be delivered during the week prior to the election, usually Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The locked equipment arrives on a four-wheeled cart and will remain covered on the cart until precinct election officials arrive election morning. Equipment pickup occurs following the election, usually on Wednesday or Thursday, barring any rental truck delays. Your assistance with these election details and to our election officials is very much appreciated. Please be sure that the proper person or persons receive this reminder notice to prevent any voting delays opening the facility on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. We would also appreciate if you could take a moment to review our emergency contact and phone list specific to your location. The enclosed document (Hot Sheet) includes our precinct information for comparison to your references indicating who we should contact if any situations occur election morning opening or closing election night. A minimum of two contacts are necessary to provide us back up for election morning especially, if the primary contact would have their own emergency and not be available. Cell phone numbers should include area code just in case a cell number is not from a local provider. To report any changes or additions to our Hot Sheet information please call: Amy or Josh at 833-3007 to assist you. If you have a preference to receive our notifications electronically, we accept email address too.
