RESOLUTION NO. 2020-778
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO PRO
TRACK AND TENNIS OF BENNINGTON, NEBRASKA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $77,250, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 BYRNES TENNIS
CENTER RESURFACING PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1038,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Pro Track and Tennis of Bennington, Nebraska, submitted a bid in the
amount of $77,250, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Byrnes Tennis Center Resurfacing Project,
Contract No. 1038, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Pro Track and Tennis submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2020-771, after public hearing on October 12, 2020, in conjunction with the FY
2021 Byrnes Tennis Center Resurfacing Project, Contract No. 1038.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Pro Track and Tennis, in the amount of $77,250, in conjunction with the
FY 2021 Byrnes Tennis Center Resurfacing Project, Contract No. 1038, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Pro Track and Tennis, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Byrnes Tennis Center Resurfacing Project, Contract No.
1038, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October 2020.
