RESOLUTION NO. 2020-780
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 5, 2020 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 9, 2020, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION SERVICES,
CONTRACT NO. RD-2020-11-02P, LOCATED AT 508
BRATNOBER STREET AND 811 WILLISTON AVENUE, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2020-11-02P, located at 508 Bratnober
Street and 811 Williston Avenue, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No.
RD-2020-11-02P, located at 508 Bratnober Street and 811 Williston Avenue, be scheduled for
November 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of November 2020,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2020-11-
02P, located at 508 Bratnober Street and 811 Williston Avenue.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
