RESOLUTION NO. 2020-815
RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE DETERMINATION
OF THE CITY PLANNER THAT THE PROPOSED CHANGE
TO THE APPROVED SITE PLAN WITHIN A "C-P" PLANNED
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT FOR A NEW GROCERY STORE
TO ADD A 2,558 SQUARE FOOT TO THE BUILDING FOR A
SEPARATE BUSINESS AND CHANGE THE LOCATION OF
PART OF THE PARKING AREAS, LOCATED AT 221-225
FRANKLIN STREET, IS MINOR AND SHALL BE APPROVED
AS A MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the determination of the City Planner that the proposed change to an approved site plan,
originally approved November 18, 2019, within a "C-P" Planned Commercial District for a new
grocery store to add a 2,558 square foot to the building for a separate business and change the
location of part of the parking areas, located at 221-225 Franklin Street, is minor, and shall be
approved as a Minor Site Plan Amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November 2020.
