RESOLUTION NO. 2020-801
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF A US DEPARTMENT
OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $44,769,
WITH NO CITY MATCH, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE
OF A POLICE MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE VEHICLE AND
RELATED EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN THE ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
acceptance of a US Department of Justice Assistance Grant in the amount of $44,769, with no
City match, in conjunction with the purchase of a police Mobile Crisis Response vehicle and
related equipment, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute and
accept said grant on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
