RESOLUTION NO. 2020-825
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BROCK EVEN
CONSTRUCTION, LLC, OF JESUP, IOWA, AT A TOTAL
COST OF $409,429.70, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020
SIDEWALK AND TRAIL REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 10,
CONTRACT NO. 1009, AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Brock Even Construction, LLC, of Jesup, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Sidewalk and Trail Repair Program - Zone 10, Contract No. 1009,
and
WHEREAS Brock Even Construction, LLC has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the project plans and specifications as approved by Council April 6, 2020,
Resolution No. 2020-219, at a total cost of $409,429.70.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Brock Even Construction, LLC at a total cost of $409,429.70, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Sidewalk and Trail Repair Program - Zone 10, Contract No. 1009,
are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November 2020.
