RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF A GRANT
APPLICATION TO THE BLACK HAWK COUNTY GAMING
ASSOCIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $820,000 INCLUDING
AN ESTIMATED CITY MATCHING CONTRIBUTION OF
APPROXIMATELY $1 MILLION FOR PHASE 3
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CONVENTION CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the grant application submission dated November 9, 2020 to the Black Hawk County
Gaming Association, in the amount of $820,000, including an estimated City matching
contribution of approximately $1 million, in conjunction with the Phase 3 improvements to the
Convention Center, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November 2020.
