Prime contractors are required to assist MBE/WBE businesses in overcoming barriers to participation , and must make good faith efforts to secure bids from , and award subcontracts to, MBE/WBE businesses. For all contract bids of $50,000 or more, the following is required to demonstrate good faith efforts in accordance with this policy: 1 .
