RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENCROACHMENT
AGREEMENT WITH JAMES HURST TO ALLOW FOR A
SIXTEEN (16) FOOT ELECTRONIC CHAIN LINK FENCE
GATE, LOCATED AT 2425 W. 4TH STREET, THAT
ENCROACHES ONE (1) FOOT ONTO CITY OWNED RIGHT-
OF-WAY OF FLETCHER AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the request of James Hurst for an Encroachment Agreement, dated November 23, 2020, to allow
for a sixteen (16) foot electronic chain link fence gate, located at 2425 W. 4th Street, that
encroaches one (1) foot onto city owned right-of-way of Fletcher Avenue, and legally described
as follows:
KENDALLS FOURTH STREET ADDITION LOT 4 BLOCK 4 AND LOT 5
BLOCK 4, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
by and between James Hurst and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of
Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of November 2020.
