RESOLUTION NO. 2020-834
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS DECEMBER 3, 2020 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS DECEMBER 7, 2020, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION SERVICES,
CONTRACT NO. RD-2020-12-01P, LOCATED AT 115
SUMNER STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2020-12-01P, located at 115 Sumner
Street, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No.
RD-2020-12-01P, located at 115 Sumner Street, be scheduled for December 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of December 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2020-12-01P,
located at 115 Sumner Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
