RESOLUTION NO. 2020-836
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
SNOW REMOVAL CONTRACT FOR
RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS FOR CITY
OWNED LOTS GENERALLY ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA
CODE 657A.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the snow removal contract for
residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A,
and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the snow removal contract for
residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on November 16, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
snow removal contract for residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned lots generally acquired
through Iowa Code 657A, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said
specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of November 2020.
