RESOLUTION NO. 2020-897
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIRST OF TWO (2)
PAYMENTS TO GROW CEDAR VALLEY, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $14,250 FOR THE BASE AMOUNT AND $56,000 IN
INCENTIVE FUNDS, FOR A TOTAL OF $70,250, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH FY 2021 ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT..
WHEREAS, Grow Cedar Valley and the City of Waterloo executed an agreement on June
22, 2020 by Resolution No. 2020-479, for technical and professional services for FY 2021
economic development purposes, and
WHEREAS, per the agreement, Grow Cedar Valley is authorized to request the base
payment plus additional; payments for work performed and tax base and jobs created.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the first of two (2) payments to Grow Cedar Valley, in the amount of
$14,250 for the base amount and $56,000 in incentive funds, for a total of $70,250, in
conjunction with FY 2021 economic development, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of December 2020.
