RESOLUTION NO. 2020-891
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS DECEMBER 31, 2020 AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JANUARY 4, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH PROVIDING JANITORIAL SERVICES
AT THE WATERLOO PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
providing Janitorial Services at the Waterloo Public Works Facility, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with providing Janitorial Services at the
Waterloo Public Works Facility, be scheduled for December 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, virtually via Zoom, at 5:30
p.m. on the 4th day of January 2021, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with providing
Janitorial Services at the Waterloo Public Works Facility.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
