Veterans Memorial Hall Commission Chair Nancy Higby From: JAMES BOLGER Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2020 3:47 PM To: Nancy Higby Cc: PAUL HUTING; BILL BACHMAN Subject: RE: Memorial Hall Attachments: IMG_2491jpg; IMG_2489jpg Hi Nancy, I stopped down just now to check on the work the crew did today at Soldiers & Sailors Park. The first picture is an area they power washed off earlier this week, that is how fast the crows are making a mess. The second picture is where they washed today. A couple days from now it will look the same or worse as the first picture. I'm sure our crew would love to do just about any job other than this nasty one so if the Memorial Hall Commission wants us to stay off the pavers we will but this is what they can look forward to. As a side note -we are only able to do this work because of the very warm temperatures. When it is normal January weather we can't power wash so sometimes we get complaints about bird droppings and there is little we can do about it. Just wanted to mention that since this is abnormal we are able to go out and clean off the droppings. Fortunately the crows only nest here during the winter!! Thank you for helping convey our side of the story!! Have a good evening! 1B From: Nancy Higby Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2020 2:46 PM To: JAMES BOLGER Subject: Memorial Hall Hi JB, Happy New Year!
