RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 1, 2021 TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 39
ACRES FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-2,P"
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED EAST OF 2971 INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st day of February
2021, to approve the request by the City of Waterloo to rezone approximately 39 acres from "A-
1" Agricultural District to "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District for property located East of 2971
Independence Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said
hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
