RESOLUTION NO. 2021-010
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 1, 2021, TO APPROVE THE FOURTH
AMENDMENT TO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH
IPE1031 REV279, LLC (CARDINAL CONSTRUCTION) TO
CONVEY ADDITIONAL LAND AND AWARD FOUR YEARS
AT 50 PERCENT TAX REBATES FOR THE
EXPANSION/CONSTRUCTION OF A SHARED DETENTION
POND SYSTEM, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st day of February
2021, to consider the sale and conveyance of city owned property described as "The North 150
feet of Lot 2, Lot 3, and Tract A, Brock Third Addition, Waterloo, Iowa", to IPE1031 REV279,
LLC, (Cardinal Construction), in the amount of $1.00, and to approve the Fourth Amendment
to a Development Agreement to award four years at fifty percent tax rebates for the
expansion/construction of a shared detention pond system.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January 2021.
