RESOLUTION NO. 2021-023
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH MIDWEST DEVELOPMENT CO., OF
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TEN
(10) SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES AND SEVEN (7) DUPLEXES,
LOCATED NORTHEAST OF 3405 MONTICELLO AVENUE,
WITH A MINIMUM VALUE OF $150,000 EACH, APPROVING
A DEVELOPMENT GRANT OF $5,000 PER UNIT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement with Midwest Development Co., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in
conjunction with the construction of ten (10) single-family homes and seven (7) duplexes,
located northeast of 3405 Monticello Avenue, with a minimum value of $150,000 each, and a
development grant of $5,000 per unit, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January 2021.
