The Iowa Public Airports Association Board of Directors has voted to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference scheduled for
April 21 to 23 in Waterloo. As the coronavirus continues to spread across the Midwest and travel restrictions are
increasingly being imposed on presenters, exhibitors,and attendees, it is prudent that IPAA support the national effort
to slow the spread of this highly contagious virus. The IPAA Board does understand that for many this conference
provides one of the few opportunities they have to meet with FAA and Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT)
officials, and the Board regrets any inconvenience canceling the conference may cause. Please forward this email to
anyone within your company affected by this cancellation.
The 2021 IPAA Conference is scheduled to be held in Iowa City. Again, these are unprecedented times and the IPAA
Board has decided to follow direction provided by our health organizations and has canceled the 2020 IPAA
Conference. We look forward to seeing you in Iowa City in April 2021.
The IPAA Board of Directors would like to thank the 2020 sponsors to the conference for their support. These sponsors
include AECOM, Foth, McClure Engineering, Bolton & Menk, Coffman Associates, Iowa Concrete Paving, Clapsaddle-
Garber,TIBA, M-B Companies Inc.,Short, Elliott, Hendrickson,Titan Aviation Fuels and Crawford, Murphy,Tilly.
The board will schedule additional time at the 4-States Conference in August for updates from the FAA, IDOT staff and
your lobbyist.
The IPAA Board looks forward to seeing you at the Graduate Hotel and Conference Center in Iowa City on April 13-14,
2021 for the next IPAA Annual Conference.
You may have already received this information but in an effort to make sure everyone is notified, we are sending this
