Hello-The Iowa Economic Development Authority will be hosting an Opportunity Zone Workshop on
September 19, 2019 at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown. (435 Park Street, Des Moines)
Registration will begin at 8:30 AM and the workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Based on your work in a community with an approved Opportunity Zone,we would like to invite you to
attend. Topics that will be on the agenda include:
• Opportunity Zone Rule Overview
• Marketing your Zone
• Structuring a deal &other state and federal incentives
• Demonstration of the IEDA Opportunity Zone Registry for Businesses and Projects

• Project and Fund Roundtable featuring projects in Iowa
Capacity for the conference is 150 attendees. Please plan to register early. You may register for the
