RESOLUTION NO. 2021-056
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE BLACK
HAWK COUNTY GAMING ASSOCIATION FOR THE
CONVENTION CENTER PHASE 3 RENOVATIONS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $820,000, REQUIRING MATCHING FUNDS OF
$1,500,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Grant offer from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association, for the Convention Center
Phase 3 Renovations, in the amount of $820,000 and requiring matching funds of $1,500,000, is
hereby accepted, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February 2021.
