RESOLUTION NO. 2021-027
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY VIETH CONSTRUCTION
CORPORATION, OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $87,642, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021
LOWELL ELEMENTARY SANITARY SEWER
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1026, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation, of, Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Lowell Elementary Sanitary Sewer Reconstruction Project,
Contract No. 1026, and
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation, has completed the aforementioned project,
in accordance with the project plans and specifications as approved by Council July 20, 2020,
Resolution No. 2020-555, at a total cost of $87,642.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Vieth Construction Corporation, at a total cost of $87,642, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Lowell Elementary Sanitary Sewer Reconstruction Project,
Contract No. 1026, are hereby approved, and a two-year maintenance bond hereby received and
filed
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February 2021.
