RESOLUTION NO. 2021-054
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY ASPRO, INC., OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,580,544.71, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020 STREET
RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 993, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc., of, Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the FY
2020 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 993, and
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in accordance with
the project plans and specifications as approved by Council March 23, 2020, Resolution No.
2020-200, at a total cost of $3,580,544.71.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Aspro, Inc., at a total cost of $3,580,544.71, in conjunction with
the FY 2020 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 993, are hereby approved, and a two-
year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February 2021.
