RESOLUTION NO. 2021-055
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERS CONSTRUCTION
CORPORATION, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AT A TOTAL
COST OF $951,547.33, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 5
SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER
EXHIBITION HALL CEILING RENOVATION PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Peters Construction Corporation, of, Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Exhibition Hall Ceiling Renovation
Project, and
WHEREAS, Peters Construction Corporation, has completed the aforementioned project,
in accordance with the project plans and specifications as approved by Council May 4, 2020,
Resolution No. 2020-301, at a total cost of $951,547.33.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Peters Construction Corporation, at a total cost of $951,547.33, in
conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Exhibition Hall Ceiling Renovation
Project are hereby approved, and a two-year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
