RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVENTION AND
VISITORS BUREAU BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
FUNDING A HOTEL -MOTEL MINI GRANT APPLICATIONS
FOR THE IOWA BOYS/GIRLS STATE BOWLING
TOURNAMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000 AND THE
CEDAR VALLEY INVITATIONAL COLLEGIATE BOWLING
TOURNAMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Convention and Visitors Bureau Board's recommendation for funding two hotel -motel
tax mini -grant applications in the amount of $3,000, in conjunction with funding the Iowa High
School Boys/Girls State Bowling Tournament and $1,000 for the Cedar Valley Invitational
Collegiate Bowling Tournament, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February 2021.
