RESOLUTION NO. 2021-053
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MIDWEST CONCRETE, INC.,
OF PEOSTA, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF $319,425.60, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 SIDEWALK REPAIR
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 10, CONTRACT NO. 1018,
AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE
BOND.
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., of Peosta, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the FY 2021 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 10, Contract No. 1018, and
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the project plans and specifications as approved by Council September 28, 2020,
Resolution No. 2020-732, at a total cost of $319,425.60.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Midwest Concrete, Inc., at a total cost of $319,425.60, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 10, Contract No.
1018, are hereby approved, and a two-year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February 2021.
