RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF BID TO FLINT HILLS RESOURCES OF DUBUQUE,
IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $134, 112 . 64 AND
BITUMINOUS MATERIALS OF DES MOINES, IOWA IN
THE AMOUNT OF $25, 350 . 00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE PURCHASE OF EMULSIONS FOR THE FY15 SEAL
COATING PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Flint Hills Resources of Dubuque, Iowa in
the amount of $134, 112 . 64 for 50, 000 gallons of CRS-2P and 5, 000
gallons of HFE-300 and Bituminous Materials of Des Moines, Iowa
in the amount of $25, 350 . 00 for 5, 000 gallons of HFMS-2S and
15, 000 gallons of CSS-1 described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said purchase with
Resolution No. 2014-617, after public hearing on July 28, 2014 on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 2014 .
