RESOLUTION NO. 2014-708
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY FUNDS WITH
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Application for Traffic Safety Funds dated August 18,
2014, in the amount of $300, 000 . 00, to be used for traffic safety
improvements consisting of the installation of traffic signals,
railroad preemption, and a left turn pocket on the east leg of
Osage Road at the intersection of Osage Road and Dubuque Road, by
and between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 2014 .
