RESOLUTION NO. 2014-754A
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF RENADA BATES
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Renada Bates is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 29, 2014 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. , in
conjunction with a Bates Family Reunion event to be held at 906
Fairview Avenue, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Renada Bates has made formal application for a
variance effective August 29, 2014 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. ,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Renada Bates for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 29, 2014 from
4 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. , in conjunction with a Bates Family
Reunion event to be held at 906 Fairview Avenue, including a DJ
and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of August, 2014 .
