RESOLUTION NO. 2014-787
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AGREEMENT
WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY/
GOVERNOR' S TRAFFIC SAFETY BUREAU FOR IMPAIRED
DRIVING COUNTERMEASURES GRANT AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated September 8, 2014, for Impaired Driving
Countermeasures Grant in the amount of $56, 500 . 00, to be used for
the purchase of equipment, training related travel, educational
materials and overtime for impaired driving enforcement, for the
period of October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015, by and between
the Iowa Department of Public Safety/Governor' s Traffic Safety
Bureau and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day September, 2014 .
