RESOLUTION NO. 2021-076
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY J.F. BRENNAN COMPANY,
INC., OF LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$218,348, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020 CEDAR
RIVER BLADDER DAM REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 996,
AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE
BOND.
WHEREAS, J.F. Brennan Company, Inc., of La Crosse, Wisconsin, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Cedar River Bladder Dam Repairs, Contract No. 996, and
WHEREAS, J.F. Brennan Company, has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the project plans and specifications as approved by Council October 7, 2019,
Resolution No. 2019-745, at a total cost of $218,348.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by J.F. Brennan Company, at a total cost of $218,348, in conjunction
with the FY 2020 Cedar River Bladder Dam Repairs, Contract No. 996, are hereby approved, and
a two-year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February 2021.
