RESOLUTION NO. 2021-081
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO BOULDER
CONTRACTING LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $252,250, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BOND, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 GREENBELT LAKE
REAP GRANT PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1042, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC, of Grundy Center, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $252,250, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project,
Contract No. 1042, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC, submitted a written contract, bond and certificate
of insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2021-057, after public hearing on February 1, 2021, in conjunction with the FY
2021 Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project, Contract No. 1042.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Boulder Contracting, LLC, in the amount of $252,250, in conjunction
with the FY 2021 Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project, Contract No. 1042, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Boulder Contracting,
LLC, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project, Contract No.
1042, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February 2021.
