RESOLUTION NO. 2021-089
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY KOELKER EXCAVATING,
INC., OF MARION, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $644,768.50,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CEDAR VALLEY CROSSING
SUBDIVISION, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Koelker Excavating, Inc., of Marion, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the Cedar Valley Crossing Subdivision Project, and
WHEREAS, Koelker Excavating, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the construction plans for paving, sanitary sewer and storm sewer, as approved
by Council October 22, 2018, Resolution No. 2018-798, at a total cost of $644,768.50.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Koelker Excavating, Inc., at a total cost of $644,768.50, in
conjunction with the Cedar Valley Crossing Subdivision Project, are hereby approved, and a two-
year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February 2021.
