RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 1, 2021, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 17.50
ACRES FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT AND "M-1"
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "C-P" PLANNED
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND "B-P" BUSINESS PARK
DISTRICT, LOCATED AT 700 FALLS AVENUE, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet virtually via Zoom
video conferencing at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st day of March 2021, to approve the request by the City
of Waterloo to rezone approximately 17.50 acres from "A-1" Agricultural District and "M-1"
Light Industrial District to "C-P" Planned Commercial District and "B-P" Business Park District,
located at 700 Falls Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said
hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February 2021.
