RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND
CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $300, FROM BROADWAY
LIQUOR, 821 BROADWAY STREET, WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
SALE OF TOBACCO TO MINOR VIOLATION -FIRST OFFENSE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement and check for $300, dated March 1, 2021, for the
affirmative defense sale of tobacco to a minor violation -first offense, between Broadway Liquor,
821 Broadway Street, Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo is hereby approved, and the
Mayor is authorized to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of March 2021.
