RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 11, 2021, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 15, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION SERVICES CONTRACT
NO. D-2021-03-6P, LOCATED AT 1004 FULTON STREET, 179
REBECCA LANE, 118 SHILLIAM AVENUE, 421 LOGAN
AVENUE, 154 HARRISON STREET, AND 242 HOGLE
STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Demolition Services Contract No. D-2021-03-6P, located at 1004 Fulton Street,
179 Rebecca Lane, 118 Shilliam Avenue, 421 Logan Avenue, 154 Harrison Street, and 242
Hogle Street, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Demolition Services Contract No.
D-2021-03-6P, located at 1004 Fulton Street, 179 Rebecca Lane, 118 Shilliam Avenue, 421
Logan Avenue, 154 Harrison Street, and 242 Hogle Street, be scheduled for March 11, 2021 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet virtually via Zoom, at
5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of March 2021, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with
Demolition Services Contract No. D-2021-03-6P, located at 1004 Fulton Street, 179 Rebecca
Lane, 118 Shilliam Avenue, 421 Logan Avenue, 154 Harrison Street, and 242 Hogle Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
