RESOLUTION NO. 2014-898
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR DOT-
INITIATED DETOUR OF PRIMARY HIGHWAYS ONTO
LOCAL ROADS WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement for DOT-Initiated Detour of Primary Highways
onto Local Road dated October 13, 2014, for use of City streets
to detour Highway 63 traffic from U. S. Highway 63 and Airline
Highway to Airport Boulevard, from mid-October through mid-
November, 2014, in conjunction with the F.Y. 2012 U. S. Highway 63
Improvements - Conger Street/Newell Street to Donald Street,
Contract No. 790, by and between the Iowa Department of
Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of October, 2014 .
