RESOLUTION NO. 2014-912
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH TRAFFIC
SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND DOWNING AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Traffic Operations of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc. , in conjunction with Traffic
Safety Improvements at the Intersection of Ansborough Avenue and
Downing Avenue, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Traffic Operations did file
said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, estimate
of cost, etc. in conjunction with Traffic Safety Improvements at
the Intersection of Ansborough Avenue and Downing Avenue, which
were preliminarily approved by Resolution No. 2014-884 on
October 6, 2014, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
October 20, 2014 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc. in conjunction with Traffic
Safety Improvements at the Intersection of Ansborough Avenue and
Downing Avenue, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same
are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October, 2014 .
