RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF A 15 FOOT PLATTED UTILITY
EASEMENT ALONG THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF LOT
1, SUMMERLAND FARMS, AS NOVEMBER 3, 2014, AT
5: 30 P.M. IN HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 3rd day of
November, 2014, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a
proposal to vacate a 15 foot platted utility easement along the
south property line of Lot 1, Summerland Farms, for the purpose
of constructing new duplexes on the site, and legally described
as follows:
The 15 . 0 foot utility easement as platted in Lot 1 in
"Summerland Farms" Addition to the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, State of Iowa, located along the
Southerly lot line of said Lot 1, excluding the
Westerly 15' thereof.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October, 2014 .
