RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
APRIL 5, 2021, TO APPROVE A PROJECT ADDENDUM TO
AGREEMENT FOR RESIDENTIAL HOUSING
CONSTRUCTION WITH HAWKEYE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE, AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF 514 JOHNSON STREET TO HAWKEYE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE FOR THE VALUE OF SERVICES THAT
HAWKEYE COMMUNITY COLLEGE WILL PROVIDE FOR
THE PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet virtually via Zoom
video conferencing at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of April 2021, to approve a Project Addendum to
Agreement for Residential Housing Construction with Hawkeye Community College,
authorizing the sale and conveyance of 514 Johnson Street to Hawkeye Community College for
the value of services that Hawkeye Community College will provide for the project.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of March 2021.
