RESOLUTION NO. 2021-169
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH
REGULATED ASBESTOS -CONTAINING MATERIALS
DEMOLITION SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. RD-2021-03-1P,
LOCATED AT 220 HOPKINS COURTET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Regulated Asbestos -Containing
Materials Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2021-03-1P, located at 220 Hopkins Court, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Regulated Asbestos -Containing
Materials Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2021-03-1P, located at 220 Hopkins Court, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on March 15, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
Regulated Asbestos -Containing Materials Demolition Services, Contract No. RD-2021-03-1P,
located at 220 Hopkins Court, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with
said specifications.
