RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF HOUSE AND GARAGE GENERALLY
E LOCATED AT 4330 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE FOR

WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real
c• ` roperty in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and

C.— WHEREAS, an offer to purchase a house and garage

*ocated at 4330 Ansborough Avenue in the sum of $500 . 00, hasrbeen
ade by James Rooff, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 4, 2006, at
S 75: 30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as
nprovided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
-the proposal to sell and convey premises owned by the City of
:Vaterloo, Iowa, to James Rooff, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and
:- conveyance should be made as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
ceITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:

1 . The house and garage generally located at 4330
Ansborough Avenue, as fully described in the published notice in
the Waterloo Courier on December 27, 2005, is not presently needed
and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal
purposes and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose, and
2 . That the offer of James Rooff to purchase a house and
garage generally located at 4330 Ansborough Avenue for the sum of
$500. 00, and costs, be and it is hereby accepted.
3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said house and
garage to James Rooff.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of January, 2006.
