RESOLUTION NO. 2021-186
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 22, 2021 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 3, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER REMODEL
PROJECT, IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
GRANT PROJECT NUMBER STP-U-8155(755)--70-07, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the Traffic Control Center Remodel Project, Iowa Department of Transportation Grant
Project Number STP-U-8155(755)--70-07, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Traffic Control Center Remodel
Project, Iowa Department of Transportation Grant Project Number STP-U-8155(755)--70-07, be
scheduled for April 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 31-d day of May 2021, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the Traffic Control Center Remodel Project, Iowa
Department of Transportation Grant Project Number STP-U-8155(755)--70-07.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April 2021.
