RESOLUTION NO. 2021-194
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 29, 2021 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 3, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2021 SHAULIS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION -
HESS ROAD TO HWY. 218 PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1020,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Shaulis Road Reconstruction - Hess Road to Hwy. 218 Project,
Contract No. 1020, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Shaulis Road
Reconstruction - Hess Road to Hwy. 218 Project, Contract No. 1020, be scheduled for April 29,
2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 31-d day of May 2021, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Shaulis Road Reconstruction - Hess Road to
Hwy. 218 Project, Contract No. 1020.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
