< H RESOLUTION APPROVING A DETERMINATION OF
SIMILAR USE FOR A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING
SERVICE AT 432 LOCUST STREET AS SIMILAR TO
USES PERMITTED IN THE "R-4" MULTIPLE
RESIDENCE DISTRICT.

J F WHEREAS, Joel Harris has requested the City of Waterloo
, _approve a determination of similar use to allow for a

professional
cleaning service as similar to uses permitted in the
#-9-" Multiple Residence District at 432 Locust Street, and

WHEREAS, said property at 432 Locust Street is zoned "R-4"
auaple Residence District, and

ti ^ WHEREAS, the Waterloo Zoning Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
not list as a principal permitted use in the "R-4" Multiple
&es3dence District said use, but authorizes the City Council to
approve a use not listed if it is determined to be similar to a
Uae permitted in said District, and

v - WHEREAS, the City Planning, Programming and Zoning
�omtaission has reviewed said request and has recommended that the
Ct r Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a
prOfessional cleaning service at 432 Locust Street as a similar
us4-b. to uses permitted in the "R-4" Multiple Residence District .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the use of the property at 432 Locust Street
as a professional cleaning service be determined to be a similar
use to uses permitted in the "R-4" Multiple Residence District .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of February, 2006.
