RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF JERRY
QUINT AND STACEY FOLKERS TO REZONE FROM "A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "R-1" RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 5640
KIMBALL AVENUE, AS MARCH 13, 2006, AT 5: 30
P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 13 day of March, 2006, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Jerry
Quint and Stacey Folkers to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural
District to "R-1" Residential District property generally located
at 5640 Kimball Avenue and legally described as follows:
That part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter
(N11 SE3'a) of Section No. 16, Township No. 88 North,
Range No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Commencing at Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter
of said Section No. 16, point being a found 3" diameter
aluminum disc in P. C. C. pavement;
Thence Due North along the East line of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section No. 16 a distance of 1, 325 . 76
feet to the Southeast corner of said North Half of the
Southeast Quarter;
Thence South 89°12' 15" West along the South line of
said North Half of the Southeast Quarter a distance of
40. 0 feet to the Westerly right-of-way line of Kimball
Avenue, being the point of beginning and a set le rebar
with license #6505;
Thence continuing South 89°12' 15" West along said South
line a distance of 484 . 0 feet to a set '-e rebar with
license #6505;
Thence North 00°20' East a distance of 629. 58 feet to a
set l" rebar with license #6505;
Thence South 89°46' 45" East a distance of 480 . 3 feet to
the said Westerly right-of-way line of Kimball Avenue;
Thence Due South along said Westerly right-of-way line
a distance of 238 . 02 feet to a set '-e rebar with
license #6505;
Thence North 89°12' 15" East along said Westerly right-
of-way line a distance of 7 . 0 feet to a set '-e rebar
with license #6505;
Thence Due South along said Westerly right-of-way line
a distance of 158 . 95 feet to a set rebar with
license #6505;
Thence South 89°12' 15" West along said Westerly right-
of-way line a distance of 7 . 0 feet to a set le rebar
with license #6505;
