RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF CEDAR
VALLEY RESTORATION AND DEVELOPMENT, LLC TO
REZONE FROM "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, "C-3"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND "M-1" LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "R-4, R-P" PLANNED
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND TO REZONE
FROM "C-3" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "C-P"
PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE 900 BLOCK OF WATER
STREET, AS APRIL 17, 2006, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN
THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 17th day of April, 2006, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Cedar
Valley Restoration and Development, LLC to rezone from "C-2"
Commercial District, "C-3" Commercial District and "M-1" Light
Industrial District to "R-4, R-P" Planned Multiple Residence
District property generally located in the 900 block of Water
Street and legally described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in part of Lots 1, 4 , 5, 8
and 9 in Block 1 and Lots 1 thru 10 in Block 22 and
part of 7th Street (to be vacated) lying between Blocks
1 and 22 and part of Water Street lying Southwesterly
of Blocks 1 and 22, all in the Original Plat on the
East side of the Cedar River, City of Waterloo, County
of Black Hawk, State of Iowa, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Easterly corner of said Block 22;
thence South 40° (degrees) 45 ' (minutes) 27" (seconds)
West (assumed bearing for the purpose of this
description) on the Southeasterly line of said Block
22, also being the present Northwesterly right-of-way
