RESOLUTION NO. 2006-254
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA REQUESTING BLACK HAWK
COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONVEY TO THE
CITY OF WATERLOO CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Black Hawk County has certain parcels of property
they plan to sell at their auction, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, that it is in the best interest of the City
of Waterloo to acquire said certain parcels of property from the
Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors, and
WHEREAS, said certain parcels of property will be utilized
by the City of Waterloo for future or current right-of-way, or
continued ownership of certain areas of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
1 . That the following described real property is needed
for future or current right-of-way, or continued ownership, and
2 . That the Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors convey
the following described real property to the City of Waterloo:
Parcel #8913-24-101-004
Auditor Rainbows Plat No. 4 Waterloo, the East 12 feet
of the South 42 feet of Lot 46, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
Parcel #8913-24-412-006
Gushards Subdivision of a part of Lot 20 of Hardy and
Virdens Plat, all Lot 3 except the East 103 feet and
except commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 3,
thence East 25 feet, thence North 18 feet, thence West
21 . 85 feet, thence Southwesterly 18 . 19 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
Parcel #8913-24-412-018
Gushards Subdivision of a part of Lot 20 of Hardy and
Virdens Plat, the East 103 feet of Lot 3, except that
part deeded to the City of Waterloo in CLD Book 644
Page 363, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
