c d r RESOLUTION REQUIRING 20 PARKING STALLS FOR AN
OUTDOOR PAINTBALL RECREATION FACILITY TO BE
LOCATED SOUTH OF 2750 WCF&N DRIVE IN THE CITY

J WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Planning, Programming and Zoning
czi 'ossion reviewed the request by Andrew Lusson for a Special
lieRgt to allow for the establishment of an outdoor paintball
'O KeOl ation facility located south of 2750 WCF&N Drive in the City
N of.-Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, and

= _WHEREAS, the site plan for said outdoor paintball recreation
ztgifity does not show the number of parking stalls provided, and
thg ,Waterloo Zoning Ordinance does not list a specific number of
g= king stalls required for a paintball facility, and
_ WHEREAS, the Waterloo Zoning Ordinance does state that for
€ cilities not specifically mentioned that the number of parking
spaces shall be determined by the City Council after
recommendation of the Waterloo City Planning, Programming and
Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Planning, Programming and Zoning
Commission has recommended that the site be required to provide 20
parking stalls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that 20 parking stalls be required for an
outdoor paintball recreation facility to be located south of 2750
WCF&N Drive in the City of Waterloo, Iowa .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of Mar , 2006 .
