RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF
LOWELL AVENUE, ALLEY AND AREA NEAR THE LEVEE
SYSTEM GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN MITCHELL AND
EASTON AVENUES TO GARY W. AND CAROLINE C.
WENDEL (CHASE AUTO) AS APRIL 24, 2006, AT
5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 24th day of April, 2006, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey a portion of Lowell Avenue, alley and area near the levee
system generally located between Mitchell and Easton Avenues to
Gary W. and Caroline C. Wendel (Chase Auto) , and legally
described as follows:

Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township
89 North, Range 12 West of the 5th Principal Meridian
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows :
Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 10, Block
112, Riverview Addition in the City of Waterloo, Iowa;
thence North 69°11' 56" East along the Northeasterly
extension of the Northwesterly line of said Lot 10, a
