RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN STREET
WATERLOO TO HOLD CINCO DE MAYO FESTIVAL ON

j J WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo has requested that they be
' ..allowed to hold Cinco De Mayo Festival on May 6, 2006, from 3 : 30
o fpL#n. to 10 : 00 p.m. , on West 4th Street near LaPlacita Grocery and
c hold a mini parade starting on Lafayette Street between Park
7 ,Avenue and East 4th Street, down 4th Street and across the bridge
o the LaPlacita Grocery.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
£ITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo
o hold Cinco De Mayo Festival on May 6, 2006, from 3 : 30 p.m. to
30 : 00 p.m. , on West 4th Street near LaPlacita Grocery and to hold
mini parade starting on Lafayette Street between Park Avenue
.find East 4th Street, down 4th Street and across the bridge to the
LaPlacita Grocery, be and the same is hereby approved.
